Dalia has been teaching children for over 39 years. She was born and raised in Israel. She studied at The Hebrew University and earned a Masters in Teaching from the High Institute of Teachers in Israel. After being a lead teacher and then assistant principal at an Israeli Elementry school she moved to South Florida in 1989 with her husband and three children. Here in Florida she has worked at various Jewish Day Schools and Hebrew schools, while being the head of Hebrew at Camp Ramah Darom in the Summers.
A favorite quote of Dalia’s by writer Aldous Huxley: ” Experience is not what happens to you. It’s what you do with what happens to you.”
TBI has been lucky to have Dalia working with our children for the last 6 years. When not creating a positive, informal , and fun Jewish learning experience for the students at TBI you can find her in the kitchen cooking some amazing food.
