2009 WID Project
We all know how important social action is and Temple Beth Israel was a proud supporter in 2009 of our Broward County Federation's "Tikkun Olam" ("Repairing the World") Community-wide projects. The 2009 Tikkun Olam Day took place Sunday, November 22, 2009 and the Project benefited Women in Distress of Broward County, Inc. (WID) -- the new Jim and Jan Moran Family Center Campus, Deerfield Beach, FL. Check out www.womenindistress.org for more information about the beneficiary.
